Proposal Development
I have been part of a dynamic team engaged in fast-paced business development, responding to RFPs, RFIs, and EOIs within tight deadlines. Through this experience, I have learned that successful proposal development requires strong organization, a dedicated lead to oversee the process, clear role assignments, and regular check-ins to ensure alignment and efficiency.
I have contributed to various stages of proposal development, starting with Opportunity Identification and Capture Planning, where I review solicitations to extract key donor priorities and requirements. I am skilled at identifying and engaging potential partners, negotiating agreements, and securing key personnel whose expertise matches donor expectations and the scope of work.
I ensure that proposals align with donor frameworks, following all compliance details, including formatting, submission protocols, deadlines, and Q&A schedules. I conduct research for both technical and cost proposals, gathering reports, past experiences, and industry benchmarks to strengthen technical proposal narratives.
On the cost proposal side, I support the development of cost estimates through market research and prepare budget narratives that justify proposed expenditures. I have also participated in internal technical and cost reviews, including pink, red, and gold team reviews, ensuring proposals meet quality standards before submission. I review final proposals for accuracy and compliance, making sure they are clear, competitive, and aligned with donor expectations.
