Local Partner Health Services (LPHS) Karamoja: Gender, Youth & Social Inclusion Assessment

This assessment explored gender, youth, and social inclusion dynamics in health service delivery in Karamoja, Uganda, aiming to provide actionable insights for improving service accessibility and equity.

My Role & Contributions

  • Co-authored the inception report and presentation briefings for client, aligning study objectives with program needs.
  • Planning and Logistics forĀ Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) to capture qualitative insights from diverse community groups.
  • Recruited and trained research assistants, ensuring effective and accurate data collection processes.
  • Oversaw the data collection and quality control process, maintaining high standards of research integrity.
  • Conducted thematic analysis of qualitative data using NVivo to identify key barriers and facilitators to accessing health services.
  • Contributed to drafting sections of the final report, ensuring clear presentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Organized dissemination materials and supported stakeholder briefings to communicate key findings effectively.
